Image Watermark
Need to add a text watermark to any image? Image Watermark does it in the browser, in a couple of clicks. The image is decoded onto an HTML canvas in your browser and re-encoded there, so the picture is processed on your own device rather than uploaded. It is used most by designers doing a quick crop or format swap without opening Photoshop. Colour profiles are kept as the browser reads them — extreme wide-gamut originals may shift slightly. There is no account to create, no email to hand over and no cap on how often you use it.

Frequently asked questions
- Is there a size limit? — Only what your device can hold in memory. Ordinary camera photos are instant; very large panoramas may take a few seconds.
- Can I use Image Watermark on a phone? — Yes. Image Watermark works in mobile Safari and Chrome, including picking images straight from your camera roll.
- Will transparency survive? — Yes for PNG and WebP output. Saving as JPG has no transparency channel, so transparent areas become solid.
- Does Image Watermark strip location data from my photos? — Re-encoding drops most EXIF metadata, including GPS coordinates — useful if you are about to post the picture publicly.
